June 13, 2006 (Framingham, MA) Pivotal Satellite Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of satellite and IP communication services, announced today the launching of their new Mobile Communications Portal unit.

The Mobile Communications Portal unit is a 16’ v-nose trailer with two 1.8M satellite antennas, redundant Tandberg encoders and decoders, a full array of satellite communications equipment and monitoring, a UPS unit, Internet streaming equipment, on-board generator, air-conditioning, and heating system.

“The Mobile Communications Portal unit delivers communications solutions to our clients in various levels of capacity based on their needs”, said Robert Berg. Jr., President of Pivotal Satellite Technologies. “It has the capability of 1Mg uploads and 1.5Mg downloads for Internet/data transmissions with scalable increases possible for larger applications.
